NCAA Division III Sweet 16!

Congratulations to University of Texas at Dallas and Rhode Island College Men's Basketball teams! Both teams have advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship's Sweet 16.

University of Texas at Dallas (24-5) earned a first-round bye in the tournament, and beat Wheaton College (Ill.), 63-62, to advance to the Sweet 16. The Comets play Wisconsin-Stevens Point (25-4) at 9 p.m. on Friday, March 12.

Rhode Island College (22-7) topped Rutgers-Newark, 72-60, in the first round, and knocked off Middlebury, 72-59, to advance to the Sweet 16. The Anchormen meet Brandeis (21-6) at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 12.

The D-III Championship Semifinals will be played on Saturday, March 13.
