]]>Mr. Vandegrift is part of the team managing licensing operations for SMA. He is responsible for addressing all aspects of the licensing process, cultivating relationships with licensed vendors, and administering new client licensing transitions.

Mr. Vandegrift joins SMA following an 11-year stint at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation, where he was Consumer Products Manager, administering licensing services in the areas of trademark management, quality control processes and new vendors.
“We are excited to add Neil to the SMA family,” said John Jeanguenat, Director of Operations. “Neil brings a wealth of experience and a high industry IQ to this position. He will be integral in helping SMA continue to serve its clients and licensees at the highest level.”
Mr. Vandegrift is a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He and his wife, Laura, reside in Indianapolis.

]]>There are three former Troy Trojans and a former Northwest Missouri State Bearcat on the Giants roster, and all four players are expected to play a key role on the world's biggest stage.
New York defensive end Osi Umenyiora, wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan and kicker Lawrence Tynes played there college ball for Troy. Defensive end Dave Tollefson, also on the Giants, played at Northwest Missouri State.

]]>Ms. Monnin will be responsible for managing the licensing program for current SMA client institutions in Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia, as well as cultivating additional partnerships in the region.
A three-year member of the SMA team, Ms. Monnin has worked as the Marketing Manager, administering licensing services in the area of royalty management, as well as art review support. Prior to SMA, Beth spent many years in the advertising specialty industry.
"Beth has proven her tremendous value to our University Services team," said Brian Young, Director of University Services. "Her internal customer care and operations experience provides Beth a great understanding of the licensing business. She knows what it takes to provide the best service to our clients. This, coupled with her outgoing personality and creativity, will help us continue to fulfill our commitment to providing the best client representation in the industry."
Ms. Monnin is a graduate of Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. She and her family reside in Minster, Ohio.

Ms. Sackowski is part of the team that manages licensing operations for SMA. She is responsible for addressing all aspects of the licensing process, cultivating relationships with licensed vendors, and administering new client licensing transitions.
Before joining SMA, Ms. Sackowski was a free-lance graphic designer where she developed and designed marketing collateral materials for small businesses in the Indianapolis area.
“We are thrilled to welcome Keri to the SMA family,” said John Jeanguenat, Director of Operations. “She is an important member of our licensing operations team, and her enthusiasm is infectious. Keri’s commitment to customer service will help SMA continue to serve its clients and licensees at the highest level.”
Ms. Sackowski is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana. She and her family reside in the Indianapolis area.

Congratulations to Pittsburg State University, which won the 2011 NCAA Division II Football Championship on Saturday! The Gorillas (13-1) knocked off Wayne State, 35-21, in Birmingham, Alabama.
It was the first time Pittsburg State won the football championship since 1991, and the Gorillas are the 10th school to win two or more Division II titles.
Pittsburg State took control of the game after a special-teams touchdown in the second quarter turned a 14-13 deficit into a 20-14 lead. Aries Herrion returned a blocked field goal 80 yards for a touchdown.

]]>Fort Lewis (24-1) beat Lynn, 3-2, in overtime of the national championship game. It is the second NCAA championship in three years for the Skyhawks, and third in school history.
